Send text messages to a GMail account

GMail accepts text messages. All you need to do is put the GMail recipient’s address in the TO: section of a text message (where you would normally put a phone number). Although my phone says “Message failed to send” I still receive the message in my Gmail account every single time. I wonder if I will be getting charged for “failed” messages at the end of the month by my provider. Give it a try.
