Quick Tip: Test Your Connection Speed
Ever wanted to know your exact broadband connection speed? You can find out at InternetFrog.com with a quick speed test. The test will report your connection’s download and upload speeds separately (uploading is usually slower), the round trip time for sending and receiving a small data packet, and the maximum pause recorded during the download. It will even give you a percentage rating for your connection’s general quality of service.
You can check out the InternetFrog Speed Test at www.internetfrog.com/mypc/speedtest

[…] Hit the link to test your broadband connection’s upload and download rates, which are shown on a simple graph alongside the average speeds for different connection types (ranging from 14.4 kps dial-up modems to ISDN to a T3.) My favorite part is seeing how your service ranks overall. Roadrunner here in NYC is at about 81%, better than I anticipated. —Gina Trapani InternetFrog.com: Network Tools, Internet Speed Test and Website Tools [via CodeJacked] […]
