Quick Tip: Doin’ Wheelies
Be sure to look up the help for your favorite applications to see what variations of the mouse wheel can do for you (or just experiment). For example, did you know that holding down the Control key while spinning the wheel in Microsoft Word changes the zoom factor?
For another example, in TextPad, holding down the Shift key while spinning the wheel accelerates the scrolling.
