Quick Link: PBCS 0.7, a Web-Based Project Calendar

PBCS ScreenshotProject-Based Calendaring System (PBCS) is a PHP4 web-calendar suitable for project managers to collaborate with their team members, for clerks to schedule appointments on behalf of doctors and other professionals, and so forth. Appointments can be linked to pre-defined projects, giving insight in the progress of running projects. Even though PBCS is officially in beta test (with a 0.x release number), the project managers have also labeled it as “production/stable.” So, presumably, some of the nearly 3000 people who have downloaded it so far are finding it useful.

To quickly judge if PBCS is appropriate for your needs, take a gander at the fully illustrated, 13 page User Guide (a PDF download). Just be aware that the user guide only corresponds to version 0.5, so you’ll want to be sure to check out the news items/change notes, and forum traffic as well, in order to get caught up with the latest features.
