Greatly improve the look of your fonts in Linux

A while back, Arsgeek posted a great way to improve the look of your fonts in Linux. All you need to do is type the following text into a gedit file and save the file as .fonts.conf into your home directory and restart gnome (don’t forget the period before fonts). I will include a copy of the file if you would rather download it than create it yourself. The transformation your fonts go through is fantastic and adds consistency across programs.
