Free PowerPoint Viewer 2007 + Free “Vista” Fonts
The free Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2007 lets you view full-featured presentations created in any version of PowerPoint (97 and up).
As an added bonus, when you run the installer it automatically installs six new TrueType fonts, unless you are a Vista user, in which case you already have them. Counting the variations, there are a total of 20 TrueType fonts. All of these fonts happen to have names that start with the letter C: Calibri, Cambria and Cambria Math, Candara, Consolas, Constantia, and Corbel.

Interesting, all fonts start with C! A good “bonus”! With just 6 fonts, variations are up 20.

Fred Gadsby- Just click on the download link provided in the article. It will take you to the Microsoft page to download the viewer. It’s a 25mb file so it may take a few minutes to download if you’re on DSL or cable (a lot longer if you’re on dialup). But after you download it just run the installer and it will walk you through the install steps.

Michelle,
My German is very rusty, but I’ll try and answer your question. As I understand it you have Windows Vista and are looking for Powerpoint. Powerpoint sold by Microsoft, so you will have to buy it separately or buy a version of MS Office that includes it. Luckily most versions of MS Office include powerpoint since it’s used by students and business people alike.
If you don’t want to buy MS Office, you could take a look at OpenOffice. A free, open source office suite that can open and edit powerpoint, word documents, and excel spreadsheets. Its quite a good package actually.
