CodeJacked Readers’ Top 6 Favorite Productivity Sites
In my last two articles on reader favorites, I gave you the favorite technology and news-related websites from readers who responded to our CodeJacked Reader Opinion Poll. This is the final installment of that three-part series. Now I bring you the top 6 sites CodeJacked readers visit for productivity tips and tricks to get things done.
- Lifehacker (lifehacker.com) – The overwhelming favorite among CodeJacked readers, Lifehacker recommends websites, shortcuts, and downloadable programs to help make you more productive.
- Google (www.google.com) – Having made the transition from website to verb, this formidable search engine has now expanded to include even more services, such as the increasingly popular Gmail and Google Reader.
- Lifehack.org (www.lifehack.org) – This site offers daily and more-than-daily posts with productivity tips and “lifehacks” that make life and work faster and easier on your computer.
- Zen Habits (zenhabits.net) – A productivity site that focuses on optimizing and simplifying tips for the jungle of life. Articles include ideas for good habits that bring greater organization and focus to your work.
- 43 Folders (www.43folders.com) – Offers tips and articles for time management, productivity, stress reduction, and time-saving shortcuts. 43 Folders is also a source for tips and discussion concerning Mac OS X.
- David Allen’s GTD (http://www.davidco.com) – The home of the various facets of David Allen’s “Getting Things Done” program. The site includes tips, articles, and a product store for the winning productivity system. You’ll see GTD referenced frequently by other productivity sites.
With these 6 productivity-boosting websites, we’ve reached the end of our reader favorites list. Once again, thanks to everyone who answered our reader survey. I hope you’ve found some of our readers’ Web picks interesting and useful… Just as useful as CodeJacked, of course.
By the way, the survey is still open. If you haven’t taken it yet, we would still like to hear from you. Much effort goes into maintaining this blog, and we want to ensure that everyone gets the most benefit possible.
